Who can wear a flight suit?

Flight suits are primarily worn by pilots of military and civilian aircraft such as airplanes, helicopters, and gliders. They are also commonly worn by ground personnel, including aircrews, especially in situations where there is a potential for fire hazards. In the United States Air Force (USAF), various personnel such as pilots, navigators, combat systems officers, drone/RPA crews, and missile crews may all wear flight suits in Air Force Tan or Freedom Sage colors. Black flight suits are often worn by air teams and private ambulance services. In recent years, two-piece flight suits have become more common, particularly in the US Army, with the conversion of the A2CU or Army Aircrew Combat Uniform to OCP camouflage.
