How many European standard types of protective clothing?

The European standard is the national standard of the EU member states, and the standard making bodies are CENELEC and CEN. There are having national and European standards for protective clothing. The European standard stipulates that chemical protective clothing must meet the requirements of the European standard for hazardous protection in personal protective equipment (PPE), that is, the "III" requirements. After passed the fabric performance test and the comprehensive sports test of the garment, final defined the 6 types of protective clothing, now let’s introduce the 6 types of protective clothing of C&G as below.

TYPE1: Airtight protective clothing

Used for high respiratory and skin protection, protection against liquid or gaseous chemicals and solid particles

TYPE5: Dust-dense protective clothing

For light skin protection, only for protection of solid particles
